Are you Interior Designer from a Commercial Hospitality background or similar, looking to join an award-winning company that have won multiple contracts and offer brilliant progression opportunities?

This company, founded in 1998 offer unique interior design solutions for an international client portfolio, focusing on understanding each client’s personal identity to find creative design trends. With previous work alongside Disney, they have the highest of standards, and their award-winning designs are expected day in and day out.

This role will involve the use of Sketchup to make complex interior designs for a new client that is looking to change the world of cruise liners. The emphasis is on a creative use of 2D/3D designs on Sketchup in ways that are attention grabbing, bold but can also blend seamlessly with other areas of the vessel. The successful candidate will show expert concept layout skills and use relevant narrative to justify their design. This role is a 3-month fixed term contract which may lead to further extensions of work or a permanent role further down the line.

This role would suit an Interior Designer from a Hotel background or similar, looking for a three-month, hybrid role that will see you working on some exciting bespoke projects.

The Role:

  • Create and develop conceptual designs, bringing them to lift using colour and texture, through CAD software in 2D and 3D
  • Knowledge of FF&E selection to aid the generation of plans using sketches and CAD software such as Sketchup
  • Deliver detailed designs and choose materials that represent strong narrative links to brand ideals
  • Prepare visual packages for visual artists
  • Manage the creative projects on assigned spaces through to finished CGI
  • Hybrid working, from Monday to Friday

The Person:

  • Proven experience in a similar position within large commercial hospitality design
  • Demonstrated experience of working on projects from end to end
  • Experience using Sketchup or similar design package
