Are you a Logistics/Facilities Manager looking for a varied role within a fast-paced environment, working for a well-established logistics company offering flexible working hours, autonomy, and time off in lieu for additional hours worked?

Since the early 2000s, this company has grown into a multi-million-pound business with nearly 200 employees, providing logistics services to industries including automotive, food, and pharmaceuticals. Due to continued growth, they are looking to strengthen their operations team.

In this varied role, you will oversee the day-to-day management of a fleet of around 80 HGVs operating across four UK sites, coordinating servicing, maintenance, and repairs while liaising with Site Managers to ensure smooth operations. You will also manage departmental budgets, oversee the procurement of vehicle parts and site supplies, negotiate with suppliers, and respond to operational issues as they arise. This is a 45-hour-per-week role, with typical working hours of either 8am-5pm or 9am-6pm, with any additional hours returned as time off in lieu.

This role would suit a Logistics/Facilities Manager or similar with experience managing HGV fleets and coordinating site operations, looking for a varied position within a growing logistics business offering flexibility and long-term progression.

The Role

• Manage a fleet of around 80 HGVs
• Coordinate servicing and maintenance schedules with Site Managers
• Travel to the company’s four UK sites approximately once a month
• 45-hour week with time off in lieu for additional hours worked
