Are you a Controls Engineer or similar, ideally with experience working with Allen Bradley and Siemens PLCs, looking for a role at a specialist machinery manufacturer, where you will be the technical go to for all Control system related issues, at a company who boast over 60 years of industry expertise and supply their machinery at a worldwide scale?

Do you want to work in a varied and exciting role where you will get to work on a variety of PLCs, HMIs, servo drives, and robots, as well as other specialized control systems all custom made to client requirements, whilst reaping the benefits of in-house training on the company’s expertise, paid travel for out of office work, and an annual discretional bonus?

On offer is the chance to become a valued member of a specialist controls and commissioning team, who for over 60 years have been manufacturing specialized machinery from their workshop for a variety of clients on an international scale, including but not limited to packaging, product assembly, quality control, and product handling machines.

In this role you will be responsible for programming and modifying control systems using PLCs, servo drives, and robots, troubleshooting and adjusting mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and controls equipment, as well as being a core part of the manufacturing process from build completion through to customer inspection and final sign-off.

This role would suit a Controls Engineer or similar, ideally with experience working with Allen Bradley and Siemens PLCs, looking for a role at a distinguished company with over 60 years of innovation and expertise, where you will be the technical to go for customer and internal issues involving a variety of specialized control systems.

The Role

  • Programming and modifying control systems using PLCs, servo drives, and robots
  • Troubleshooting and adjusting mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and controls equipment
  • Being involved in the manufacturing process from machinery build to customer handover

The Person

  • Controls Engineer or similar ideally with experience working with Allen Bradley and Siemens PLCs
  • Happy with UK and overseas travel (30% travel, 70% office based)
  • Commutable distance to Lowestoft
