Are you a Junior Mechanical Engineer, Mechanical Fitter or similar looking to kickstart your career with an industry-leading company that will provide electrical training, hands-on development, and plenty of overtime to increase your earnings?

In this role, you will receive ongoing training while carrying out planned preventative and reactive maintenance across a wide range of heavy industrial machinery and site equipment. Working alongside experienced engineers, you will develop your mechanical and electrical skills, diagnose faults, complete repairs, and carry out occasional welding and fabrication work to support the maintenance team.

This role would suit a Junior Mechanical Engineer, Mechanical Fitter or similar with welding and/or soldering experience who is looking to develop their electrical knowledge, work on a variety of heavy machinery, and build a long-term career with a market-leading manufacturer.

The Role:

• Carrying out planned preventative and reactive maintenance on industrial machinery

• Diagnosing mechanical faults and assisting with repairs

• Receiving electrical training and ongoing technical development

• Completing welding, soldering and light fabrication work when required

• Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm

The Person:

• Junior Mechanical Engineer, Mechanical Fitter or similar

• Welding and/or soldering experience

• Keen to develop electrical maintenance skills

• Commutable to Sheffield
