Are you a Junior or Graduate in Engineering or Design with a background using Solidworks? Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to join a growing UK manufacturer, where you’ll gain hands-on experience designing real-world products and receive ongoing support from experienced engineers?

This well-established UK business specialises in the design and manufacture of construction tools and attachments. Products range covers everything from compact construction excavators through to some of the largest mining and dredging machines operating worldwide.

In this office-based role, you’ll work closely with our Senior Design Engineer and teams to develop and improve a range of products and attachments. You’ll be involved in creating 3D models using Solidworks, producing manufacturing drawings, adapting existing products for new applications.

This role would suit a Graduate or Junior Engineer with a background in SolidWorks or similar, who is eager to learn, develop their technical skills, and grow with a business who value development

The Role

• Creating and modifying 3D models and 2D manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks
• Adapting and improving existing products for new applications and customer requirements
• Developing new excavator bucket and attachment designs
• Monday to Friday (40 hour week)

The Person

• Background in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design or similar
• Background using SolidWorks or similar
• Commutable to Chester-le-street
