Are you a Contracts Manager with experience within the structural steel or construction industry, looking to join a well-established engineering business that has been shaping the industry?

On offer is the opportunity to join a long-established structural steel specialist, taking full end-to-end responsibility for contracts across design, manufacture, and installation, within a business that has been shaping the industry for nearly 25 years.

In this role you will manage structural steel contracts from initial tender enquiry through to completion, attending pre-contract, contract and design meetings, and overseeing the day-to-day delivery of projects including subcontractors, labour and logistics.

This role would suit a Contracts Manager with experience in structural steel or construction, who is confident managing multiple projects, interpreting technical drawings, and driving commercial performance within a fast-paced environment.

The Role:

• Preparing and managing tender enquiries, and attending pre-contract, contract, and design meetings
• Managing projects end-to-end including labour, subcontractors, logistics, and overall delivery
• Controlling project scope, schedule, and cost changes throughout project lifecycle
• Producing cost reports, valuations, applications, final accounts, and maintaining project documentation and records

The Person:

• Contracts Manager or similar role within structural steel or construction
• Understanding of technical drawings and cost extraction
• Commutable to Peterborough
