Are you an Electrical Design graduate from a building services background looking to kickstart your career in a well-established company, offering tailored in-house training and fully funded external software courses to make you a fully-fledged Electrical Design Engineer?

In this role you will be responsible for the electrical design for a range of high-profile commercial buildings, as well as schools, prisons and hospitals. You will oversee the projects from design to practical completion on lighting and critical power systems, fire and security, setting out drawings for the BIM team and providing complex calculations.

This company have been operating for over 2 decades and pride themselves on their high-quality work in the building services industry. They oversee the entire project from design to implementation, assisting some of the largest UK contractors on mechanical, electrical and HVAC solutions.

This role would suit an Electrical Design Engineer with a background in Building Services looking to join a thriving and rapidly growing company, with a fantastic succession plan, ensuring progression to senior design positions in under 2 years.

The Role:

• Designing lighting, power, fire and security systems for commercial buildings
• Full training on Revit and Amtech software
• Set out drawings and designs for the BIM team
• Producing and understanding complex calculations for electrical designs
• Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm, 37.5 hours per week

The Person

• Graduate Electrical Design Engineer or similar
• Building Services background
