Are you a Senior Ecologist or similar from a Biological Sciences background with a Level 1 Natural England Bat Licence, looking to join a thriving and diverse company, where you will lead a team of ecologists to deliver vital conservation projects for a respected highways developer?

In this role you will be responsible for managing a small team of 3 ecologists, where your team will conduct surveys that will inform planners and project managers on the ecological value of development sites. You will be integral to the protection of vulnerable species and habitats, ensuring compliance with environmental laws.

Founded over a decade ago, this company design, construct and maintain highway systems for Nottinghamshire Council. This company is rapidly expanding and need an experienced Senior Ecologist to join the team and provide consultations on the environmental impact of multi-million-pound highway projects.

This role would suit a Senior Ecologist looking to step into a management role where you will lead a small team and deliver large scale projects for this well-established highway company.

The Role:

• Lead a team of 3 ecologists to deliver vital conservation projects
• Conduct ecological surveys for review by project managers and directors
• Deliver expert advice on vulnerable species and habitats
• Ensure compliance with environmental laws and regulations
• Mon-Fri, 37 hours, flexible start and finish time

The Person:

• Senior Ecologist or similar
• Biological Sciences background
• Level 1 Natural England Bat Licence
