Are you a mechanical fitter with manufacturing experience looking for a secure, site-based role where you can take ownership of maintenance, repairs and installations while enjoying long-term stability, progression and overtime opportunities within a respected family-run business?

You will play a key role in maintaining and improving a wide range of plant and production equipment, leading hands-on mechanical work across site while supporting a small, experienced team.

You’ll carry out reactive and planned maintenance, strip and rebuild machinery, fault find on mechanical systems, interpret engineering drawings, organise jobs and materials, and help supervise junior fitters when required.

The Role

• Lead mechanical installation, maintenance and repair work across site
• Ensure plant reliability and minimise downtime
• Carry out reactive and planned maintenance tasks
• Fault find and repair mechanical production equipment
• Strip, rebuild and overhaul machinery

The Person

• Fully time-served Mechanical Fitter / Mechanical Engineer
• Experience within manufacturing, production or heavy industry
• Strong fault finding and repair skills
