Are you a seasoned CNC or Mechanical Engineer ready to step into a Managerial role at a rapidly growing startup Automation company offering unlimited holidays, days-based schedule and huge progression opportunities into Director as the company grows?

On offer is the opportunity to join an emerging Automation company providing end-to-end engineering services from new systems, groundbreaking products, and bespoke solutions to a unique challenge. Following continued growth since their recent establishment, they are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer or CNC specialist ready to progress into a Technical Director over time

The role will involve leading and overseeing engineering projects from concept through to delivery, ensuring high standards of design, quality, and performance. You will be responsible for providing technical guidance, supporting and mentoring engineers and CNC specialists, and driving continuous improvement across processes and systems. You will need to occasionally attend site visits and industry events nationwide.

This role would suit a seasoned Mechanical Engineer, CNC Operator or experienced Technical Director looking to join and emerging company with a bright future offering unlimited holidays and massive progression.

The role:

• Lead the design, development, and delivery of automated systems.
• Oversee detailed mechanical design, including CAD modelling, tolerancing, and material selection.
• Manage and optimise CNC machining processes, ensuring precision, efficiency, and quality standards.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership.
• Mon-Fri (10am-14am) with flexi time (40hours/week)
• Unlimited Holidays.

The Person:

• Experienced CNC Operator, Mechanical Engineer or Proven Technical Director.
• Capability to mentor others and progress into a Technical Director role.
• Able to Commute to the workshop in Manchester.
