Are you an ambitious Electrical Engineer with a background in high voltage Switchgear systems looking to progress into a challenging and varied role, within a family run company, that will value your work and enable you to rapidly progress to a fully-fledged Commissioning Engineer?

This role will involve national travel to a variety of clients sites such as Kraft Heinz, Rolls Royce, BAE Systems and Schneider. You will be responsible for testing and commissioning high voltage Switchgear units such as insulation resistance cables, DC pressure, AC flash testing and ductor testing to ensure operational efficiency and safety.

This family run company, based in Manchester, have been operational since the 1990s, working alongside household names across the country. They supply a variety of planned and emergency inspections, maintenance and repairs from 433v through to 33kV and take pride in their premium quality of work.

This role would suit an Electrical Engineer, looking to take the next step and join a family run company, who will value your work and provide further scope to progress to an Engineering Scheduler

The Role:

• Testing and commissioning of high voltage Switchgear up to 33kV
• Complete AC flash testing of transformers and Switchgear
• Testing of DC pressure and cables
• Liaising with site managers, internal and external engineers regarding all high voltage equipment
• Mon-Fri, 8-4 and Fri, 8-3:30. Overtime available at 1.5x

• Happy to cover a UK patch and stay away
