Are you an enthusiastic mechanical engineering graduate ready to kickstart their career within the manufacturing industry, in a world-renowned company, that will provide expert in-house training from technical experts on bespoke software and rapid progression to project management positions?

In this role you will use bespoke software to produce concept design sketches and calculations for large metallic expansion joints and oversee the project from start to finish. The role will involve cost estimating, liaising with customers on designs and queries and following up on designs to ensure their completion.

This company has been operating for over 100 years and are globally known for their production of expansion joints that regulate thermal expansion, vibration and movement. They have over 100 employees and supply into vital industries such as nuclear and petrochemical sites.

This role would suit an enthusiastic mechanical engineering graduate, who is looking for an exciting opportunity to work on crucial expansion joints, with a company that will value your development through excellent in-house training.

The Role:

• Produce concept design sketches and calculations for metallic expansion joints
• Liaise closely with customers on design specifications and queries
• Provide technical support throughout the manufacturing process
• Cost estimating of projects
• Mon-Thur, 8:30am-4:45pm and Fri, 8:30am-4pm. 38 hours per week
