Are you a Heavy Plant Engineer with experience working on diesel engines looking to join a global pump hiring company where you will be trained on bespoke pumping systems, progress to foreman and increase your earnings through regular overtime.

This specialist pumping solutions provider supplies high-performance pump hire equipment and engineered fluid handling systems to the construction, mining, utilities, and industrial sectors, supporting critical operations such as dewatering, wastewater management, and flood control with energy-efficient, heavy-duty pumping solutions trusted by contractors, infrastructure providers, and environmental operators across the UK.

In this role, you will service, maintain and repair diesel-driven pumping equipment used across construction, utilities and industrial sites. You’ll carry out both planned and reactive maintenance, diagnose faults on engines and pump systems, and ensure equipment remains operational. Covering the East Midlands patch, you’ll work standard hours of 8:00AM – 4:30PM.

This role would suit a Heavy Plant or Service Engineer with diesel engine experience looking to develop their skills on specialist pumping equipment while benefiting from overtime and progression.

The Role:

  • Service and maintain diesel-driven pump systems
  • 50/50 planned servicing and reactive maintenance
  • Diagnose faults on diesel engines and pumps
  • Prepare and inspect hire equipment
  • On call rota 1 in 2
  • East Midlands patch, 8:00AM – 4:30PM

The Person:

  • Experience working on diesel engines or heavy plant
  • Able to diagnose mechanical faults and carry out repairs
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Commutable within the East Midlands region
