Are you a Field Service Engineer with experience working on generators and are now looking to join an innovatiave company delivering hybrid solar power solutions to off-grid sites across the UK?

Do you enjoy fault-finding across electrical and mechanical systems, working independently on live customer sites, and are now looking for an opportunity where you can be supported to achieve your 18^th edition?

The company design and manufacture solar hybrid power systems that combine solar PV, battery storage, inverter/charger technology, and integrated backup generators with remote monitoring capabilities.

Supporting a growing hire fleet and customer base, they provide reliable off-grid energy solutions across multiple sectors.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Field Service Engineer who enjoys working with modern hybrid power technology, with training and development available in renewable and battery-based systems.

The Role:

• Service and repair solar hybrid generator units on customer sites, including PPM servicing and breakdown response
• Carry out load testing and run testing with a strong first-time fix focus
• Diagnose and repair diesel generator and engine systems
• Troubleshoot AC and DC electrical faults using wiring diagrams and systematic fault-finding techniques
• Complete accurate job reports, maintain van stock and tools, and feedback recurring faults to engineering teams

The Person:

• Proven experience working on diesel generators, plant equipment, or similar engine-driven assets
• Confident electrical fault-finding ability with AC / DC experience
• Full UK driving licence
