Are you a Mechanical Design Engineer or similar from a Manufacturing background looking for a varied and technical role within a market-leading, specialist manufacturer working on specialist industrial engineering projects who offer opportunities for ongoing progression to continually develop your career?

This market-leading company manufacture and provide a range of specialist, industrial equipment to a broad client base across numerous sectors, including Hospitals, Energy and Oil and Gas. Due to an ever increasing workload they are looking for an individual to head up their friendly design team.

In this varied role you will play a key part in design projects, including modelling on Solidworks, creating manufacturing drawings and consulting on project requirements. You will work within a team of 6 Engineers as well as liaising with production, clients, and members of the senior leadership team.

This specialist role would suit a Mechanical Design Engineer or similar looking to join a tight-knit team within a market-leading company who provide the chance to be the go-to specialist on cutting edge projects and to further your career.

The Role:
* End-to-end project work for specialist industrial design projects
* Carry out 2D & 3D modelling using Solidworks and other design packages
* Work within team of 6 engineers
* Produce manufacturing drawings
* Liaise with production team, senior leadership and clients

The Person:
* Mechanical Design Engineer or similar
* Proficient in Solidworks
* Commutable to Rochdale
