Are you a Software Developer with a background in SIP / VoIP who wants to work on a mission-critical, enterprise communications platform where your code directly supports real-world voice systems used by major organisations rather than standard web or app development?

You’ll be joining an award-winning technology business with over 40 years of industry presence, recognised for in-house innovation, long-term customer partnerships, and technical excellence. The company offers structured training, exposure to modern communication technologies, and clear development pathways within a small, collaborative engineering team.

In this role, you’ll design, build, and extend a large-scale SIP and VoIP platform, alongside its supporting REST APIs and value-added services. You’ll collaborate with engineers and customers to deliver integrations with external systems, including AI-driven voice automation, transcription, and analytics services. You’ll also take ownership of diagnosing complex SIP/RTP challenges and embedding secure, compliant design across the platform.

This role is ideal for a Software Developer from a real-time communications background who enjoys solving technically demanding problems and wants to see their work deployed in live, production environments.

The Role:

• Developing and enhancing a SIP / VoIP communications platform used in enterprise environments
• Building and integrating REST APIs and third-party systems, including AI-based voice services
• Diagnosing and resolving SIP/RTP and network-related issues using tools such as Wireshark
• Maintaining secure, compliant software design and documentation standards
