In this role, the successful Workshop Technician will be working from RAF Wyton and responsible for utilising fabrication techniques to assemble, cut and shape materials to meet the project requirements while making sure all equipment is maintained and ensuring a safe working environment.

The ideal Workshop Technician would have a level 3 in either MIG/TIG/Gas welding. Be local to Huntingdon and eager to work within a defence company.

The Role:

  • Utilize fabrication techniques to assemble, cut, and shape materials to meet project requirements.
  • Maintain welding equipment and ensure a safe working environment. Perform welding tasks using various techniques (MIG, TIG, or ARC) to fabricate metal components, and inspect welded joints for accuracy and conformance to specifications.
  • Be the appointed Inventory holder for materials and tools.

The Person:

  • Local to Huntingdon.
  • Level 3 Gas/MIG/TIG.
  • British Citizen, or able to pass security clearance.
