You will act as a technical authority to develop designs through concept and early-stage design as well as support the bidding process, and then contribute to the integration/installation into Naval Ships. This will include Specification, selection and management of external suppliers as required. In addition, manage risk within the project lifecycle and support the assessment of sensor and weapon suites for concept designs. You will act to authorize design documentation, chair and/or contribute to Design Reviews, manage bid responses and represent the department as required.

THE PERSON
* Weapons Engineering Officer or similar
* Experience integrating Combat / Communications / Navigation / Networks into marine platforms
* Navy background welcome
* Happy to travel to Plymouth around 2 times a month

THE ROLE
* You will act as a technical authority to develop designs through concept and early-stage design as well as support the bidding process, and then contribute to the integration/installation into Naval Ships.
* This will include Specification, selection and management of external suppliers as required. In addition, manage risk within the project lifecycle and support the assessment of sensor and weapon suites for concept designs.
