Are you a Tax Manager with a strong knowledge of VAT looking to work for a top 30 Accountancy Firm, with a competitive package, flexible working, autonomy and responsibility in an integral and sought after position?

On offer Is a great opportunity to join one of the leading Tax and Audit Firms in the UK, with clear routes to progress further. There is flexibility for Hybrid working, as well as autonomy to make your mark on the business.

In this role will be responsible for coaching and mentoring a team of Part Qualified and Qualified VAT accountants to provide a comprehensive VAT support service to a wide range of clients from large international businesses to charities and not for profit organisations.

You will be joining a heritage firm with over a Century of Industry knowledge and experience, voted one of the top 5 accountancy firms to work for in the UK. After another profitable year, they are looking for a VAT Manager to aid in future success to help grow the business further.

This role would suit a VAT / Tax Manager who is looking to step up into a Senior Management position and become the go-to VAT Tax specialist within a nationally renowned firm.

The Role:

• Advising UK and international clients on the VAT and tax implications of the new trading arrangements with the EU and other international trade issues.
• Discussing the VAT implications of residential and commercial property developments with clients and contacts including solicitors and architects.
• Advising affected clients on adapting to the new requirements of making tax digital.

The Person:

• VAT Experience within an accountancy practice
• AAT or ACCA
• Management Experience
