Are you a Transport Planner or similar from a Logistics / Haulage background looking for an exciting and varied role within a longstanding and family orientated company who are known for their long-term staff retention and offer specialist training opportunities to develop your knowledge as well as a clear progression structure to Transport Manager?

This company specialise in logistics and distribution operating a fleet of 300 bulk tipping vehicles as well as freight-forwarding solutions across the UK & Europe. Since their establishment in 1983, they have gone from strength to strength and are now looking to expand their Planning team to keep up with increased demand and further growth.

In this varied role, you will receive training from senior Planners to become a European capable Transport Planner as well as organising transport routes and Bulk Tipper drivers both Nationally and Internationally ensuring a smooth operation from Point A to Point B within a timely manner. You will be liaising directly with customers, drivers and senior leadership and will be the main point of contact for any issues that arise on route. This is a Monday to Friday office based role with a Rota for overtime which you will work every other Saturday.

This role would suit a Transport Planner or similar from a Logistics / Haulage background looking for a stable and days-based role within a well established company who will put their time in to train you up and offer swift progression to senior roles.

The Role:

• Full training with senior Planners provided for EU operations
• Organising & Planning routes for drivers both in the UK & EU
• Liaise with Customers & Drivers to ensure smooth operations
• Ensuring that all customs regulations are complied with
• Monday to Friday role with overtime Rota every other Saturday
• Progression structure to Transport Manager
