On offer is a great opportunity for a Transport Planner to join a fast-paced, award-winning company who are always looking to expand their operation and be the go to company in their industry.

In this role you will lead the UK team in the day-to-day running of the Freight Forwarding Department to Spain and Portugal whilst ensuring the day-to-day operations run in the most efficient way possible and all other aspects of the operations run accurately and legally.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years’ experience in a Transport Planning role within a Iberica Operation Environment and have experience in the daily use of a recognised Transport Management Systems.

The Role:

• Plan and complete all Export operations correctly and on time
• Complete all Import/Export activities correctly and on time including financial, legal and invoicing transactions
• Ensure all trailer exports are planned in advance with regular departures to Spain & Portugal from all depots
• Ensure hauliers submit required transit times and trailer costs at the most competitive at all times

The Person:

• Have experience and understand the Iberian market
• Transport Planning Experience
• Excellent knowledge of driver working hours regulations
