Are you a Mechanically biased Junior Engineer looking for a field-based role covering Scotland, with plenty of inhouse training and a wide variety of work for a company that will invest heavily into your development?

On offer is a great opportunity to be split between field and workshop based, visiting a range of beverage manufacturing facilities.

In this role you will be responsible for reading and interpreting engineering drawings, assembling machinery, using hand tools & machine tools in the workshop. Whilst out on the field you will be visiting clients carrying out installations, repairs and inspections, with plenty of training given to get you up to speed.

This market leading company have decades of expertise behind them, they manufacture niche machinery which is supplied into the drink industry. They offer a turnkey service, designing, manufacturing, and testing their products in house, whilst installing and repairing them at customer sites.

This role would suit a Mechanical Engineer who is happy to travel, as the role will require staying away from home two to three nights a week, once or twice a month – covering the Scottish Mainland and beyond, all travel expenses and accommodation will be paid.

The Role:

• Servicing and Maintaining specialist equipment in the whisky industry
• Assembling, testing, installing, servicing and maintaining equipment
• Working on motors, hydraulics, and pumps
• Split 50/50 between workshop and field based
• Covering Scotland, some staying away required with expenses paid

• Hands-on Engineer / Technician
• Mechanically biased
• Looking for a role split between workshop and field based
• Full UK driving license
