Are you a mechanically minded individual, maybe fresh out of college, looking to kickstart your Engineering career in a role that offers plenty of expert training, multiple progression paths and the potential to be a fully autonomous Service Engineer?
In this role you will be trained to service and install large format printers used by a variety of marketing, advertising and printing companies. For the first 3 months you will be closely shadowing a senior Engineer to learn about the job, then going on to complete a comprehensive on-the-job training course over 12 months to become a fully autonomous Service Engineer.
This global company manufacture, supply and install high-tech large format printers that are used in numerous business sectors. As their UK operation grows, they need fresh Engineers to skill up and develop within the company.
This role would suit a college leaver with a knack for engineering, who is not afraid to get stuck in and work autonomously in a role split between field service and the workshop that offers exceptional training, interesting variety of work and plenty of opportunities to develop your skills.
The Role:
- UK wide travel, with occasional overnight stays
- Troubleshoot, maintain, repair and service large format printing machines
- Support customers onsite, with travel overseas once or twice a year
The Person:
- College leaver with an Engineering background
- Looking for training to become a qualified service Engineer
- Full UK Drivers License
