Are you a Trainee Mechanical Fitter / Engineer looking for ongoing training on specialist engineering equipment, in a hands-on role where you can work across different sites in a varied field-based role?

Do you have experience working with motors and gearboxes and are looking to further your career, in a family-run business that like to promote from within and will invest heavily into your development?

On offer is a days-based, Monday to Friday role where you will be travelling across East Anglia installing and servicing a range of agricultural material handling machinery.

In this role you will be working alongside a Supervisor to attend breakdowns and fault find on agricultural equipment, working on motors, drives and gearboxes. There will be ongoing training to aid your development, such as on welding or electrical, and there is room to progress into senior positions once fully trained.

This long-standing design and manufacturing business work within the agricultural industry and are renowned for their high quality of work and successful history in the industry. They are a close-knit team and looking to add an enthusiastic problem solver to their workforce.

This role would suit a driven Junior Engineer that has worked on motors and gearboxes, looking for a career within mechanical engineering and to progress as a Service Engineer.

The Role:

• Installations, servicing, and breakdowns of machinery and equipment
• Working mostly on conveyors, elevators, motors, gearboxes, and drives
• Continuous on-the-job training on electrical and welding
• Monday to Friday, 42.5 hours a week, 7am – 4pm, varies in busy periods

The Person:

• Junior / Trainee Engineer
• Mechanical background
• Full UK driving license
