Are you a Mechanical Fitter/Engineer or similar looking for an exciting new role in a niche industry where you will receive specialist product and hands on training, maintaining the best plant machinery in Dorset whilst being provided with a new modern transit van (for personal and professional use), with all projects taking place within the local Dorset area, ensuring you have a great work / life balance?
Do you have a mechanical engineering, hydraulic or automotive background and want a varied role, covering breakdowns, fleet maintenance and servicing, with fault finding challenges and the opportunity to progress into a Workshop Manager role, eventually leading and managing your own team of engineers, whilst working for a market leading company?
The company are well set within the industry, having been established since 1972 and are continually building on their success by expanding their impressive fleet to boast the best selection of plant machinery in the West Dorset area. With highly qualified industry technicians, the company are on hand to support their customers, lending their expertise alongside stellar customer service. The company specialise in hiring and selling a wide variety of Plant Equipment and are looking for a new Plant Machinery Engineer to keep the fleet in the best condition, by attending breakdowns, completing repairs and utilising the best diagnostic equipment the market has to offer.
This role would suit a Mechanical Engineer, Fitter or Vehicle Technician looking to progress into a new role with a high degree of autonomy and responsibility, with the opportunity to work with industry leading equipment and technology.
THE ROLE:
* Repairing and maintaining fleet equipment
* Attending breakdowns as required
* Assisting Transport and Workshop Managers
* Completing diagnostics as required
THE PERSON:
* Mechanical Fitter / Automotive background
