Are you from a manual toolmaking background and looking for an autonomous role within a leading UK manufacturer of moulds and dies?

Are you looking for the opportunity to develop your toolmaking skills and progress within a growing company?

On offer is an opportunity to join a company established for over six decades, specialising in the design and manufacture of moulds and dies for various sectors, including the plastics and rubber industries.

You will be responsible for the repair, maintenance and modification of tools as well as the creation of moulds and dies. A typical day would involve the use machines and processes including turning, drilling, grinding and fitting.

The role
* The repair, maintenance and modification of diecast tooling
* The repair and maintenance of secondary tooling such as trim tools and machining fixtures
* New fixture manufacture for the on-site CNC machine shop

*8am-4pm Monday to Thursday, 8am-3pm Friday

The person
* Experience in diecasting or injection mould tooling
* Ability to manually create tools
