Are you from an Electronics / Electrical manufacturing background, with experience of electronics certifications and ISO 9001, looking to step into a highly autonomous role with a market leading manufacturer of premium rechargeable and battery powered lighting products, which is currently pushing the boundaries of lighting technology by producing cutting edge rechargeable lighting systems, where you will have excellent progression potential, working alongside the director to produce new products, as well as managing technical and compliance aspects?
Do you want to be the go to person for all technical aspects for a highly advanced manufacturer with a multimillion turnover, currently experiencing accelerated growth globally, whilst doing their utmost to create a more sustainable future, where you will play an integral part in their continued success, expanding the business’ systems in a number of crucial areas, effectively shaping the future direction of the company?
On offer is an excellent opportunity to step into a hugely versatile and varied role, with a high degree of responsibility. You will be responsible for liaising with clients to check certifications, new product testing, liaising with suppliers and working with the Managing Director to develop Health, Safety and Compliance systems as well as coaching and developing the production team, within a company which is invested in your professional development.
The role:
- Respond to technical enquires from the Sales team and external clients, resolving queries and quality issues as they arise
- Maintain product compliance records, liaising with supply chain, test houses and Lighting industry Association to ensure regulatory records are maintained
- Develop, consolidate and expand the business’ systems in product quality, business management through ISO 9001, Health, Safety and Environmental
- Improve upon Risk Assessment procedures
- Coach and develop the Production Team, resolving internal and supply chain quality issues
- Ensure compliance
The person:
- Electrical / Electronics Engineer
- Experience with internal audits and ISO 9001
- Experience managing compliance aspects
