Are you a Senior Engineer or similar from an RF design background looking to step up into a highly autonomous, challenging role, with plenty of responsibility and recognition, where you will have a heavy influence in the future success of a globally renowned company?

On offer is a great opportunity to progress into a varied, fundamentally important role within the silicon engineering team, where you will be overseeing a team of 7 skilled engineers.

In this managerial position you will be primarily office based, heading up the design team and silicon based projects with external partners. You will manage the tools and budgets for the projects, leading the team as the go-to technical expert within the division.

This global design and manufacturing company have provided specialist electronics products for over 50 years, for industries including aerospace and satellite, with multiple sites across various continents and continuous growth plans for years ahead.

This role would suit a Senior Engineer with experience in RF design looking to head up a vital function in a world-leading business, where they will play a key part in the company’s ongoing success.

The Role:

• Overseeing a team of 7 design engineers and managing external design partners
• Reviewing designs, mentoring and coaching the team
• Handling high-cost projects from cradle to grave within Silicon
• Managing finances, resources, quality and reliability
• Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5pm, 37.5 hours a week with flexible working hours
• Hybrid working available

The Person:

• RFIC Design background
• Silicon experience
• Experience leading or overseeing a team
