Are you from an electronics or electrical engineering background with experience working on offshore equipment looking for an outstanding opportunity with a specialist company who put staff development as its first priority?

Would you like to work as a specialist survey equipment technician with the opportunity to deploy offshore?

This company is a leading global provider of specialist subsea equipment to sectors including offshore renewables, marine science, Oil and gas. Having operated for over 20 years, the company is expanding creating an opportunity for ambitious and innovative people.

In this role you will be responsible for preparing and testing equipment that is being delivered to clients or returning from hire, ensuring all safety and business standards are being met. You will be completing repair tasks, general warehouse and delivery operations and providing technical support.

The Role

• Preparing and testing of equipment prior to rental and post hire
• Function testing, software / firmware updates, cable integrity
• Ensuring completeness of equipment against packing lists
• Checking, inspecting and documenting equipment returned from hire
• Visual inspection, function testing and writing technical reports
• Identification of in-house or external repair tasks

The Person:

• Working knowledge of electronic engineering principles, techniques and practices
• Experience in working with survey equipment
