Are you a Mechanical Engineer from a Manufacturing background or similar looking to work for a renowned machine manufacturing company within the whiskey Industry, that offers a stable, varied, and autonomous role, where you will become an integral member of the Engineering team?
They are seeking a Mechanical Engineer from a Manufacturing background or similar to join the small, close-knit team. You will be responsible for reading and interpreting engineering drawings, assembling machinery, and using hand / machine tools in the workshop. Whilst out on the field you will be visiting clients carrying out installations, repairs, and inspections.
This market-leading company has over 20 years of expertise behind them, they manufacture niche machinery which is supplied to the scotch whisky industry. They offer a turnkey service, designing, manufacturing, and testing their products in-house, whilst installing and repairing them at customer sites.
This role would suit a Mechanical Engineer from a Manufacturing background or similar who is looking for a varied and exciting role within the Engineering side of the whiskey industry.
The Role:
- Assembly, testing, installation, and repairs
- 50% Workshop / 50% Field
- Covering the Scottish Mainland
- Monday to Friday
The Person:
- Mechanical Engineer
- Automotive / Manufacturing background or Similar
- Ability to read/interpret engineering drawings
- Full UK driving license
