Are you a Workshop / Service Engineer with basic PLC programming and CAD looking for a varied and highly rewarding role, with door-to-door overtime, an attractive package, specialist manufacturers training and a clear scope to progress to a senior engineer?
As the go-to Electrical Engineer for a close knit, well established and profitable business, you will work within a diverse role, with a mix of both workshop and field-based service and engineering. On a day to day basis, you will carry out workshop duties, with the opportunity to get out on the road to client sites, carrying out service, maintenance, installation and commissioning. There will be an element of officed based work also included in the position, where you will assist with technical queries, drawings, pricings, quotes, so basic CAD is preferred.
This role would suit a Workshop / Service Engineer with a strong background in Electrical, looking for a varied, technically challenging, highly rewarding position.
DUTIES
* Working within the workshop on a wide range of equipment
* Panel building and wiring, PLC work, technical support, pricings, quotes etc
* Field based on a frequent occasion to client sites to assist with service / commissioning.
PERSON
* Electrical bias, previously worked in either a Service or Maintenance role, or similar
* Basic PLC programming and CAD skills
* Happy to be mainly workshop based, with 20% travel to clients sites
