Are you an experienced salesperson working in the scientific/medical sector looking to help develop the UK and Irish market for a growing business that has secured key partnerships with a wide range of leading European and American Product manufacturers?

Would you like to the key individual in developing the UK and Irish market and have the opportunity to establish market share and develop and grow your own team?

On offer is a role with a company that are 17 years old, and a primarily an export-based company now looking to penetrate the UK & Ireland market with their solution. You will be well supported by Sales Administrators in the team helping with Quotes and all admin work. Additionally, there is a Marketing team working on promotions and market development while the manufacturers will provide necessary training support.

There are several exhibitions and shows planned for this year to further boost presence and support the new Sales Manager.

You will be home-based and asked to visits the office in Kent once or twice a month. You will have a proven track record in growing sales and developing business and be looking for a new exciting opportunity…

Responsibilities:

  • Develop sales strategy and a business plan to drive business growth and the achievement of set goals including increasing sales, market share and profitability; cascade it down to quarterly and monthly sales plan
  • Responsible for managing the entire sales pipeline i.e. managing sales process from order to invoicing; this is achieved by interacting with all relevant departments within the Company
  • Drive UK & Ireland Market segment from account and revenue planning (strategy) through execution (client meetings and business development cycle)
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including operations, marketing, and technical departments to ensure a unified approach towards business development goals
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and industry influencers
  • Regularly assess and analyze sales performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and devise action plans to optimise results
  • Understand clients’ unique requirements and align offerings to cater to their specific demands

The person:

  • Experienced in sales and business development within either the medical, scientific, laboratory or technical instrumentation sectors
