Are you a sales professional with experience of selling products to industry looking to work for a major international lighting manufacturer based in Portsmouth who will offer job security, training and progression, potential future promotion to Business Development Manager and the opportunity to visit clients in the field one day a week?

Do you want to enjoy a varied work schedule where you will be advising commercial businesses on lighting products, converting new enquiries into orders, generating new orders from previous customers, dealing with customer returns and visiting customers once a week out in the field selling cutting edge lighting products into industries like Construction, Emergency Services and Rail?
Our client is a leading manufacturer of lighting products with a major manufacturing site in Portsmouth. You will normally be in the office for 4 days a week but will have freedom to visit clients once a week – mileage allowance and fuel paid. If an overnight stay is needed then accommodation and food allowance are provided.

The Role:

• Identify and convert new clients to buy company products
• Drive Business Development forward
• Call and email new clients and invite them to try and purchase company products
• Demonstrate company products to new clients via video conference, telephone and email
• Liaise with purchasing professionals in industries like Construction and Rail
• Increase purchasing by existing clients
• Conduct virtual sales appointments
• 4 days per week in the office / 1 days per week travelling around the UK

• Stay overnight regionally for up to 1 day away from Portsmouth
• Sell Lighting products into UK Construction and Rail companies
• Provide updates on your sales progress to the management team
• Record sales progress through company CRM (Hubspot)

The Person:

• Sales professional with experience of selling products
• Willingness to be travelling around the UK 1 day per week
• Full UK Driving License
