Are you a Sales Estimator from an HVAC background, looking for an exciting opportunity with a highly reputable A/C installations business where you will cover estimating, surveying and design, playing an integral part of a team with a company that will ensure your success is nothing but a priority?

On offer is the opportunity to work for a well-established business specialising in supplying and installing air conditioning systems operating nationwide from their office in Derby. Working alongside a small team, you will be the go-to engineer responsible for carrying out a range of HVAC design projects, working at all stages of the project including estimating and surveying sites to facilitate accurate proposals being produced, and travelling to UK-based clients when required. The design elements of the role will include completing technical submissions, carrying out CAD drawings and designing HVAC systems.

You will have all the training needed to ensure you are the absolute best in your field.

The Role:

• Arrange site surveys with clients and book these in via individual diaries.
• Send out quote requests and chase supplier quotes.
• Research new suppliers and agree on discount structures/pricing agreements etc.
• Contact clients to clarify aspects of each project.
• Carry out proposed HVAC layout drawings on AutoCAD.
• Compile and submit accurate technical submissions for design and build; con consultant-resultant-led projects.
• Carry out heat load calculations as required on design and build; consultant-led projects.
• Calculate and draw HVAC schematics on desi consultant- led consultant-led projects.
• Carry out designs from scratch for mechanical projects.

The Person:

• Estimating/ Surveying Experience
• HVAC or Construction background
