Are you a Quality Engineer / Manager from a Heavy Engineering background, looking for the opportunity to implement and manage the Quality Management Systems (QMS) for an industry leading company?

On offer is the opportunity to join a well-established and specialist business which supplies the automotive, medical and general Engineering sectors.

In this role you will be working with specialist equipment investigating internal customer related quality issues and coordinating quality assurance. You would liaise directly with customers on reject management, effectiveness and control all the quality systems. You would also be responsible for updating all relevant documentation and standards to improve the service life of products.

This role would suit a Quality Engineer / Manager looking for autonomy, responsibility, and recognition. You will have the opportunity to become a key player within the business put your own stamp on an entire QMS.

The role
* Compliance and development of the quality system, including internal auditing.
* Management and resolution of customer quality issues.
* Updating necessary documentation to ensure resolution of all quality issues.
* Assisting in the achievement of the companies KPI’s

The Person
* Quality Engineering background
* The ability to champion all PFMEA, APQP, SPC, PPAP, ISIR, PSW & 8D activities
* Good understanding of drawing requirements, must be able to quickly interpret drawings, models and CAD detail
