Are you a Quality Inspector looking to develop your career in Quality Engineering working with a Tier 1 precision engineering company supplying some of the most prestigious names in the market such as Rolls Royce?
Do you have some manual or machine measurement experience and want to join a leading aerospace manufacturing business with over 80 years history and that can provide training and development?
On offer is an opportunity to train as a measurement technician in the quality department helping to measure products to determine conformity or non-conformity to ensure continued compliance to our customers’ and industry requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure no product non-conformity escapes to customers
- Accurate and appropriate measurement of product features to determine conformance/non-conformance to drawing/model
- Improvement of the inspection processes to increase efficiency and/or effectiveness
- Conducting inspection processes to meet Customer & internal requirements
- Conducting measurements of products/ tooling and fixtures as required
- Calibration of measurement devices traceable to national standards
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
- Background in engineering or measurement
