This worldwide leader has been established since 1945 and specialise in the manufacture and supply of undercarriage Crawler Track Systems. With dedicated sites in the US, China and India alongside continued growth in the UK, the company boast unrivalled products covering both steel and rubber tracks, supported by a knowledgeable and highly skilled team, with their state-of-the-art 3D modelling software considered their core strength. Due to ongoing expansion, the company are looking at welcoming a new Quality Inspector, to work in tangent with the Head of Quality on a day-to-day basis, inspecting and testing materials and processes, identifying opportunities for improvement and monitoring KPI’s.
This role would suit a Quality Inspector with a Mechanical or Fabrication background looking to accelerate their career and reap the benefits of working as part of a globally successful and thriving corporation.
The Role:
- Perform product and process audits against internal audit schedule as requested
- Inspecting and testing materials, equipment, processes, and products
- Work with the Supplier Quality Engineer as needed
- Support management in monitoring and continued improvement of QMS and ISO9001
- Report to the Head of Quality on a day-to-day basis
