On offer is the opportunity to join a highly reputable UK manufacturer of Industrial paints and coatings. You will be responsible for completing quality control testing on raw materials and finished goods as per test specifications and QA procedures. You will work closely with the QC Chemist and Production, as well as assisting in the operation and maintenance of the testing equipment.
The role:
- Complete product testing on density, viscosity, application, colour and drying for a range of industrial paints, coatings and metal pretreatment products
- Operate and maintain the test equipment
- Record test results, liaising with Production and the QC Chemist
- Assist with resolving any Quality or Performance issues
- Conduct / Assist with equipment calibration
The person:
- Any QC experience
- Any experience working in a Chemical Manufacturing environment or similar
