Are you a welding inspector looking to join a specialist company where you will be performing welding and dimensional inspections on the shop floor, organising and creating AESSOP requests for NTD, PWHT and pressure tests and performing final inspection and release of items to clients.

In this crucial role, you will be responsible for overseeing all site deliveries, ensuring the accuracy of delivered materials, and maintaining the highest standards of quality control throughout our manufacturing processes.

The Role:

  • Receive and manage all site deliveries
  • Inspect incoming goods for quality, promptly reporting any defects or damage
  • Conduct comprehensive dimensional inspections and validate certifications for incoming materials
  • Ensure compliance with traceability
  • Record and log receipts in P+ & AESSOP MRP systems
  • Alert the Operations Manager to any identified material shortages
  • Adhere to the Goods Inwards & Quality Control Procedure
  • Conduct shop floor inspections, including dimensional and welding assessments
  • Document welding and material traceability data, entering it into AESSOP
  • Coordinate and generate AESSOP Requests for NDT, PWHT, Hardness, Pressure Test
  • Perform final inspections and authorize the release of items to clients

The Person:

  • Quality Inspector or similar
  • Experience in shopfloor inspections and weld inspection
  • CSWIP certification
