The company are a successful and longstanding manufacturer, covering the nuclear, defence and aerospace markets, specialising in detector equipment. With continued expansion and growth arises an opportunity for a new Quality Control Inspector to join the team, responsible for manual and CMM inspection on mechanical components on CNC Machining Centres, overseeing the Junior Quality Control Inspector and managing all documentation required.
This role would suit a Quality Control Inspector with a background in Manufacturing and/or Engineering, looking to significantly progress their career with continued training and career support, alongside generous company benefits.
The Role:
- Carry out inspections of material, products and components as required
- Perform calibration and inspection of tools gauges and equipment as needed
- Ensure Quality standards are adhered to (ISO 9001)
- Work as part of the Quality Team, mentoring junior members as needed
The Person:
- Quality Inspector and/or similar
- Background in Engineering/Manufacturing
