On offer is an excellent opportunity to join a successful and established business (77 years) currently undergoing a programme of change. As QHSE Manager, you will be an influential member of the management team and report directly to the Operations Manager.
The QSHE Manager is responsible of all the quality assurance, health & safety and environmental, aspects of the business, she/he will supervise, lead and co-ordinate work systems to ensure that all products and services of the company meet the highest quality standards and that the working conditions within the company are safe.
Management of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and Health and Safety Standards
Management of the internal and external audits (quality, environmental, health & safety) including audit planner and register
Active participation in external audits with certification bodies (BSI, Comply Direct), customers and suppliers
Full management of the concern/non-conformance database (customer, supplier, internal, environmental, safety, internal/external audit)
Management of company’s risk assessment portfolio in conducting, review, communication and consultation towards processes, machines, hazardous substances
Management of the Environmental Aspect/Impact Register
Management of the QSHE Training / Skills Matrix with trends and plans for development. Delivery of QSHE trainings, modules and induction for new starters
Comprehensive knowledge of Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality within a
Hold NEBOSH certificate or equivalent Level 3 NVQ in Health and Safety
