Are you a Purchaser/Buyer from a manufacturing background looking for a varied, dynamic role where you will be involved in the purchase of all company engineering materials, parts and consumables?

On offer is a long term, permanent role with a business who has expanded through 2022 and as well as this year. They are a well-established growing company and are looking for motivated individuals to join the team.

On offer is the opportunity to join a world leading company where you will be working within a close-knit team in a business that is known for looking after their employees. This well-established company manufactures blower, booster and vacuum pump packages for projects with major companies all around the world.

This role would suit a Buyer/Purchaser from a manufacturing background looking for a really varied role.

THE ROLE

• Be involved in, and bear some responsibility for, certain areas of purchasing within an established and growing supply chain. These areas can include, but are not limited to, components and equipment for the manufacturing requirements of the business, small tools, machine tooling, facilities services, office supplies, I.T. equipment, PPE
• Identify prospective purchasing requirements within the business, source new suppliers, negotiate pricing with new and existing suppliers, negotiate payment and delivery terms
• Build and maintain records relating to purchasing activity and contracted purchases
• Conduct analysis of existing activity and identify improvement opportunities, and to implement improvement projects where appropriate
