Are you a Mechanical Design Engineer with at least 1 year’s work experience looking to step up and develop new applications and high-performance solutions for innovative design projects within the Aerospace, F1 and Research and Development sectors?
On offer is the opportunity to progress as a Project Engineer and lead your own projects and be actively encouraged to pursue further academic and professional accreditation.
You will become an integral part of a niche and highly skilled engineering team who pride themselves on research and development. The company have been established for over 50 years and have grown to become a global leader at the forefront of technology and design for specialist instrumentation.
With inhouse manufacturing capabilities you will actively be able to get involved in the development of mechanical design for new applications and emerging technologies within this varied and challenging role where you will work on complex and specialist design briefs, create models and assembly drawings, through to testing and developing.

Job description:
* Mechanical design and development of new applications and products
* Development of innovative technology across Aerospace, Automotive and Energy
* Using 3D CAD software
* Create model and assembly drawings
The person:
* Engineering degree
* Experience with 3D CAD software (SolidWorks or CREO or similar) – Training available
* Ability to perform hand calculations (sizing and stress)
