Are you an aspiring Programme Director with experience of NEC contracts looking for a senior role where you will lead the strategic plans across all activities on one of the UKs largest fibre improvement projects that impacts 100s of communities?
This role would suit a Programme Manager who wants to engage with multiple projects and problem solve with a leading Utilities company where you will be responsible for the development and implementation of tracking, reporting and analysis frameworks and controls to support effective project management and resource planning through to day to day management of Risks, Assumptions, Issues and Decisions (RAID).
This role would suit a Programme Manager from a Civil, Telecom, Broadband or Utilities background looking for a senior role where you will be responsible for providing insight and leadership to help the operations team to establish effective ways of delivering the project.
The role:
* Responsible for producing the programme plan that captures detailed activity plans for all contracts highlighting key deliverables and resource requirements to successfully deliver the works as agreed and satisfy contractual obligations.
* Monitor & report progress against milestones, benefits and success criteria acting as a key point of contact for project communications and engagement with the wider business.
* Create and update the programme plan using reports from the operational delivery teams to ensure the plan reflects the latest ‘real’ position
The person:
* Utilities experience, ideally in the Telecommunications industry
* Commercial acumen – NEC contract experience
* Managing clients and civil teams on a main build
* P&L responsibility
* Contractor experience as well as client experience
