On offer is the opportunity to join a highly reputable company which specialises in the development of specialist polymers and a major provider of biocompatible materials for medical applications to the ophthalmic industry. You will be responsible for ensuring the efficient manufacture of production batches of polymers and biocompatible materials, assisting in the maintenance and calibration of the plant, to ensure safe operation, consistent product quality and environmental protection.
The role:
- Working within a manufacturing environment, calibrating and maintaining equipment to ensure safe and efficient production of raw materials (polymers and biocompatible materials)
- Ensure product quality through quality checks and methodology
- Mixing Chemicals
- Ensure safe operation of machinery
- Days only – Monday – Friday
The person:
- Experience as a Production Technician or similar
