This cable and electronic manufacturing company is well established within the Defence and Aerospace industry, while also covering most of the industrial market, known for their reliability and stock availability which has proven key to their success. With strong partnerships and a reputation for their high quality products, the company are looking for a Production Engineer to demonstrate their knowledge and expertise by overseeing the day to day tasks of the Production Department. With all the training required to take on the role completely independently, you will play an integral role within the company by lending your knowledge and expertise, directly adding value.

This role would suit those with a Production, Electronic or Manufacturing background, who are looking to take on more responsibility whilst upskilling yourself, in an autonomous and flexible role.

THE ROLE:
* Scheduling workloads for Production Department
* Working with sales team to maximise opportunities
* Processing customer enquires
* Liaise with customers, suppliers and colleagues regarding engineering issues
* Purchasing and pricing parts as required
* Creating/updating Drawings Packs, BOM’s, Works Instructions and Test Data as required

THE PERSON:
* Manufacturing/Electronics background
