Are you a Procurement Manager or similar from a Manufacturing / Logistics background looking for a fully autonomous role where you will be the go-to specialist within the business as you are directly responsible for developing a new purchase order system within a market-leading logistics company offering swift progression to senior roles, the opportunity to build a team around you and an annual bonus of 10% to increase your earnings?

This company are one of the country’s leading logistics providers to the food industry working with some of the UK’s largest retailers. They are well known for their staff-retention and now employ over 800 people across the country. Due to further growth and success, they are now looking to expand their procurement team.

This autonomous will see you become the go-to person within the company for all procurement responsibilities as you work closely with the Finance Director and other senior members as well as building and maintaining relationships with clients and suppliers. You will have a major focus on overseeing KPI activities and controlling overall direction of procurement activity in the company.

This role would suit a Procurement Manager or similar looking for an autonomous leadership role within a market-leading logistics company who offer the chance to further your skillset and continually progress to senior leadership roles.

The Role:

  • Establish a Purchase Order System
  • Opportunities to grow a team around you as the company develops
  • Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and clients
  • Lead and improve development, compliance and sustainability processes
  • Work to KPI’s and oversee KPI activities
  • Liaise with Finance Director and other senior leadership

  • Procurement Manager or similar
  • Background in Logistics / Manufacturing
  • Commutable to Crewe
