Are you a planning engineer or similar looking for a varied and exciting role within a fantastic team of a well-established company who pride themselves on ongoing development and excellent workmanship?

This company deliver an excellent service mainly to the industrial sector varying from gas and oil to nuclear. They have been providing their first rate engineering services for over 150 years and such work with a variety of important clients. Due to continual growth they are looking for a new Planning Engineer to join their team.

In this varied role you will be working out of the workshop in Oldham, Producing detailed schedules for purchasing and detailed job planning for manufacturing departments. You will work a Monday – Friday shift pattern 08:30am – 16:30pm (37.5 hours).

This exciting role would suit a Planning Engineer or similar looking to improve their skills and develop their career within a very well established company who pride themselves on their service and history.

The Role:

• Produce detailed schedules for the purchasing department to procure both raw materials and sub contract services
• Produce detailed job planning for the manufacturing process using the most efficient/cost effective process available
• Monday – Friday shift pattern 08:30am – 16:30pm

The Person:

• Planning Engineer or similar
• Mechanical Engineering background
• Auto-CAD software experience
• Commutable to Oldham
