Do you have any experience as a Packaging Technologist / Engineer, or experience in CAD / relevant degree, looking to step into a pivotal role, with a technically advanced chemical manufacturer, where you will take a technical lead on Packaging, with great development and progression opportunities?

Are you looking to join a globally leading manufacturer of Health & Beauty products, which has recently invested in brand new manufacturing facilities, and ongoing R&D, where you will work across numerous functions, adding direct value to a rapidly growing business?

The company are experts in creating, developing and manufacturing cosmetic products for over 600 international brands within the Health and Beauty sectors. They pride themselves on their technical ingenuity, and ability to continually improve upon their products through and onsite R&D / Scientific team.

You will be responsible for problem solving quality issues with packaging, providing efficient solutions to clients, creating product specifications for clients, attending production line trials and managing the completion of packaging testing protocols, as well as liaising with external suppliers, warehousing, manufacturing and internal purchasing to ensure packaging is manufactured to spec and in line with client requirements.

The role:

• Writing and managing packaging specifications, in line with client specifications
• Liaising with external packaging suppliers to ensure components are readily available
• Run packaging trials, including extensive in house testing
• Lead packaging investigations, to provide solutions to any quality issues

The person:

• Either a Packaging Engineer / Technologist, OR a Graduate in relevant field, OR experience in CAD from a manufacturing environment
