Are you an Operations Manager with experience in Construction/Building Services looking for a multifaceted role in a world-leading organisation specialising in materials technology with a focus on innovation and sustainability?

Do you have a background in Engineering, looking to step into an integral position overseeing a team of 20 Engineers/Technicians, driving projects to completion within budget, and developing and commercialising successful long-term business relationships?

On offer is the opportunity for an experienced Operations Manager to immediately add value to a team of dynamic and multi-disciplined individuals, managing the overall performance of the Structures and Construction test laboratory and delivering results in a demanding, fast-paced environment.

The Role:

• Manage the team of ~20 engineers and technicians
• Manage the operational performance of the Structures & Construction project & test laboratory
• Liase with stakeholders and colleagues
• Develop new and existing business relationships with clients
• Deliver against budget expectations

The Person:

• A background in Engineering
• Experience in a Management position
• Experience within Construction / Building Services / Testing
• Knowledge of hydraulic and electro-mechanical methods
